i,m really so confused with 2 expressions ?

the first one : signal strength
the second one : signal quality

im really asked this question b4..but never got good answer..im wanna know what the difference btween them...why always the strength indicator level higher than the quality one?......thx 4 help

Signal Strength simply means that you are on a "Bird"... possibly the right one!!! Signal quality, means that you are getting a specific transponder that the system is recognizing as a "Correct frequency"...

Now every system is going to be a little different, and depending upon the matrix of the Receiver, you may or may not be able to fine tune the quality of signal...

If you are really interested in knowing all about these satellite systems, then you might start getting some of the well publicized books out there....
