You can always replace the dish, just glad you were not killed as so many are in the storms. It has been some season for the storms this year. Hopefully they will be over soon.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, on the other hand very glad that you are still with us. Luckily BUDS are easy to find for free, hopefully the pole it was mounted on is still plumb ;-)

My neighbourhood got hit hard .It looks like we will not have power untill late nov.and no cable tv untill jan of 2006 .
And for the dish all that is lift is the pole. so when i get sometime will drive south to miami to look for a free dish down there.

Lots of new DirecTV and DishNet customers from the hurricanes. I know several people in the wake of Rita and Katrina got fed up with waiting for Cox Cable. A couple of them even said they probably wouldn't go back due to the picture quality and channel selection.
