In a thread sometime in the last month I commented on issues I had with both of my Hopper 3s. Dish replaced both receivers over the course of a few weeks. One of the receivers had completely died and the other was having reboot issues. JSheridan helped diagnose the reboot problem with 2 Hopper 3 installations, subsequently fixed in 531. I voiced my displeasure to Dish about them replacing a new purchased receiver with a refurbished one. Which by the way is working fine.
Today UPS shows up with a delivery from Mrs. Fields. Having ordered nothing I was a bit surprised. Inside the box was a tin of cookies along with a note from DISH apologizing for my recent issues and thanking me for 'hanging in there' while they worked to get them solved.
So, to all of you who think DISH doesn't care I'm living testament to what you can get after 23 years at the highest or next to highest tier of programming. Not complaining though as nobody has forced me to pay what would probably get me a new car, for TV programming. I just hope the cookies are good.
