Rob, I'm glad you finally decided to take the plunge. I'm sure you're going to enjoy this hobby Big-Time..! Only now that you've become quite Active in the FTA section, something has been Bugging me.... I guess I'm a bit slow, and your Avatar has already caught me a half dozen times. That little bugger is quite impressive..!!!!!

Thanks! I used to DX AM radio and shortwave when I was a kid, was a ham operator in my teenage years, so I figured this would be similar, just higher tech!

I wish I could take credit for the design of the avatar but a friend sent it to me to use on one of the websites I was working on a few years ago. I never saw anyone else using anything like it so I thought it would work good here

I just ordered a SG2100 motor, so hopefully I'll get it sometime next week to try with my setup. I think I may order a standard FTA LNB just in case it works better if I skip using the Dish Pro stuff...
