I have bricked one droid x. No idea how it happened and if anyone wants to take a stab at fixing it I would love to sell it. The other droid x that I rooted at the same time sold fine and in working order.
If course the same may happen in the future with one of our iPhones.

User errorI don't see how people are causing a brick on a root of the phone as the bootloader is still intact and rooting simply changes a few permissions, files, and installs SU.
