HR20 shows everything with a purple hue everynight

I have an HR21 connected to my TV via HDMI. This one, however, requires a hard reset via the red button every single night. Basically, when I turn it on, everything has a pink/purple hue to it. After a hard reset, it goes back to normal. However, if you turn it off, and wait about six hours, it's back to it's strange condition.

I have tried replacing the HDMI, different TV's, etc, and even putting it on a UPS system to make sure it's not a power issue.

Any ideas? I wonder if DTV will just send me a replacement HR20 and I can send this one back?

Have you tried seeing what the component output looks like? Although it does sound like its failing.

Yeah, I've tried that. I finally gave in and called DTV and they said it's a known issue and are sending me a new unit. Also, error on my part, it's an HR-21 700 not an HR-20.
