HR 24 Pause feature not working

My office HR24 pause live tv not working
My 2 other units HR24 work fine.

Also noticed rewind/fast forward also not working.

Was on phone with csr for about 40 minutes. Tried everything.
I think it's the new software that might be causing this.

Tried 3 different remotes all work except for pause feature.

Any ideas? Wait for new ce release???

Is it on all channels or just some? I know there are a few of us who can't use any DVR functions on the ESPN channels.

It's on all channels. No rewind,pause and fast forward function.
Software might be the the culprit. It's the latest one with new guide. However my other 2 units have new software and have no issues.

Yup unplugged twice. No luck. I did a thorough
run down on the unit.

Direc is sending a new one. I have a couple of brand new Direc remotes
tried them as well-Nada.

Strange, guide pulls up, info works. It will also operate all
Tv functions.

I dropped my coverage a couple of months ago
after not using it for 7 years.
Go figure, things always go wrong after the warranty..lol

Called up direc and they waived the 20 dollar shipping fee.
CSR said because I had insurance for so long she would not charge me
for shipping of unit.

Best service experience Ive had with Direc in years!

I also re upped on insurance. Im not taking that off again!

yeah pretty nice took long enough. it hasn't been cool at all this year. since you're already getting a replacement you could try going back to the NR to see if its a software or hardware issue.....

Since this is a defective exchange, there would be no charge with or without the insurance. The only difference is you would normally pay the shipping without the protection plan (insurance). Make sure they don't extend or give you a new commitment because of this.

I did not think about the extension of my contract.
That would be awful. Not that I'm going anywhere but I would hate to be roped into a new commitment.
