HR-23 receiver taking FOREVER to change between channels

Over the past week or so I have noticed my hr23 taking a long time to change between channels. It seems to be more pronounced when I first turn it on as well.
If I go to the guide and select a channel to view it takes about 10 seconds during which the program info is shown on the banner but the screen is completely
gray for about 10 seconds until the channel actually starts broadcasting. I have had this box for a little over a year now.
It also seems to be happening on my bedroom box and it also started around the same time.
Any possible fixes?

Check out some older threads about a week ago. I is a software problem all DVR and receivers are having the same problem.

do a double red button reboot. Seems to have fixed it (for me at least on my 2 R22's)

There was a update to our stream. Please press the red reboot button and wait 15 minutes for the box to go back to normal functions.
