HR 22-100 vs hr 21-700

I have both the hr22-100 and the hr21-700 attached to the same sony 60" tv.

When I go back and forth, I notice the picture on the HR21 is brighter and the sound is louder. Is there something wrong with the hook-ups, ( both HDMI) or is this a difference in the units. The hr22 is a softer picture,

possible or the setup is different... you can change settings in each recievers for picture quaility and sound.

thanks, They are set the same and that's how I can judge the difference. I can not adjust them enough to make up the difference in the units. I having tried switching them but is it possible the the problem lies it the hdmi port of the Sony?

Many TVs can have separate video and audio settings for each input.

Verify that each HDMI input is set the same way.
