HR 21 IR/RF remotes used at same time?

Is it possible to have one IR remote and one RF remote to be used in the HR21-700 at the same time? All i know now is that the box can either be set to IR or RF but not both. Am i wrong?

No, you're not wrong, so you can't have both IR & RF remotes controlling the same HR21, sorry.

You can have 2 RF remotes working with the same receiver and I think even 2 IR remotes working with the same receiver but, you can not have an IR and RF working with the reciver at the same time. I know as I have tried. Now days though, it is easy to come by a RF remotes.
