Anyone else have these issues? Since this started I have not seen any pixelating during LIVE broadcast on HD locals, but when I record something I get pixelation in the playback quite frequently. Say 4 or 5 times per 1/2hr show. Is it s HardDrive issue?

I have had pixelation problems with my HD Locals (which are now resolved since I got my dish realigned), but have never noticed a difference in live vs recorded programs. Have you ever been watching something live that has been fine and then played back the same program and it had problems? That would be the only way to say for sure that it's a DVR issue and not a transmission issue.

I'm also having pixelation problems... both my H20 and HR20 are acting up on the HD and SD nets. It doesn't happen all the time, or on all channels, but it happens at the same frequency (4-5 times per 30 min program).

Had tech out twice already  and have another appt for next Monday. They can't get 99 sat over 50% in current dish location so they're reco to move the dish to the roof (35' up).

Make sure they tweak the dish real good while they are up there...:up
I'm sure the next guy will not be to thrilled to see it up there

As it sounds like you've already figured out, yours is a signal strength problem, not a problem with the box itself. You would have the same problems live or recorded... I've not heard of anyone consistently seeing a problem specifically only with recorded programs vs. live.
