How to slave a receiver

I have a general instrument receiver and I was wonder how to slave it to my sathawk receiver so I can move my bud

Bud-Slave-kit.gif Here is a diagram that should help. The splitters have one leg that passes voltage and one side that blocks it.
 
I'm thinking of just running c-band does that change the setup any

Or just run the LNB directly to the FTA. Use H polarity only with the FTA (18v to it then*). Control polarity with the analog. * some LNB's don't work that well with only 13vdc. Or use a power inserter???

hi pitmonkey29. so are you thinking of not using the ku system you already have? (i looked at some of your previous posts and you mentioned you already have a ku system) Or are you trying to combine the c & ku systems into one receiver? (the sathawk)
 
I wanna just set up the C band for now
