How much does a retailer earn

Hey i am going to try and become a retailer for direct tv and i was just wanting to know about how much on average would i make upfront commision and residual off each sale? I know it varies based on what i install but just on average? or should i try and become a dish dealer instead do they make more? i know they make between 450-700, but i dont have an idea how much residual tho

You will take in about $500 per sale and it will cost you $6-700 in expenses unless you can build up a high volume. Check out the cost of a commercial rental for a store front. The cost of a commercial telephone line. Check out the cost of a newspaper ad or a telephone book ad.

Oh and see how much of that $500 is charged back when that customer terminates early. It dosen't make any difference wether it is DISH or Directv they will be your biggest competetior and the don't really want you to be succesful.
