So far, I have picked up the following satellites:

IA5
G3
IA6
IA8
G11
AMC4
AMC3

How is your line of site? I watch mostly feeds and the Farsi content on IA5...so, I need to figure out a new location on my house with better LOS...one that hopefully I could get G10R on....

KU line of sight...148 all the way to almost 30 (31)..dish is mounted on roof. I could get 30 but the brace for the mast the dish hits
C Band..AMC3 (87) to AnikF1(107.3)...roof knocks the rest out

I'm good from 30 to 129 except for Amazons-I have issues with that one. Also can't get 148 appearantly because of my default motor linit. I'm too lazy to tear it apart and fix it. :)

Ku: 72 -----> 148
I think some setting is limiting 61.5

BUD: Nimiq 82 Ku/84 C ---> AMC 8 C
I have a safety switch on the actuator that stops movement around 82-84 degrees, prevents flipping (also there are trees and a LOS issue if i were to go east) Nothing that way has interested me yet!

Ku band - AMC 6 to as far West as one could go. Western bird I use 24/7 is G10.

There are euclyptus trees everywhere that line the backyard fences. The curve starts somewhere around 58 degrees and works it way to IA 6. The city finally cut them earlier this month after my brother and I did some neighboring cutting last summer with the neighbors permission. This helped get SBS 6 and AMC 6 which I had been missing.

My dishes are positioned to where trees aren't bothered by them too much. I would need a minimum of 3 ku dishes on motors. One for AMC 6 to AMC 3. IA 8 to AMC 1 and then West of that on a 3rd.

C-band, because of the trees: G11 and West of that. I mostly go from IA 6 to the Anik birds.

Ku band- AMC 5 to 148, I get anything east of AMC 5 at this time because of a second story addition to my house. Anything east of AMC 5 is unattainable because of the house. I might have to move the dish somewhere else during college football season for SBS 6.

Here I get 24 - 119, some of the satellites in there i can't pick up because I'm not in thefootprint.
I have a 33 in dish mounted on my chimney looking at G10r @ 5 deg on the horizon, sig not the best.

I'm in a bowl of monster live oaks and pecan trees..i can only get 72w-110w. I may be able to get a fixed dish on a pole to get G10r but that will be down the road.

:hatsoff:

I get 87w to 129w haven't tried for anything past 129 but should be good for another 10'
AMC 3 at 87w is about the limit due to tree line along the edge of the lake, may have to move the dish out into the lake to bring up the signal a bit.
I would get a great view from the middle of the lake just don't know what the ice would do the pole in the winter.
Come to think of the neighbours wouldn't be to impressed. :D

My 8' dish hits the ground much past 72W and I get into my trees West of 135W.

My 5' dish in the same spot nailed 45W - 135W with ease.
