how good is the service

well i not planning to get anything special like the the nfl ticket i just want a reliable cable that won;t have any problems. i currently with comcast and the cable fine except the occasional BLACKOUT that last 1-12hrs....

about the satelitte i just wanted to know about losing the picture or receive static. also does snowing effect the signal or just blizzards?

All video service can be effected by weather; my DBS over 10 years has gone out far less and for far shorter times than cable. In really severe weather where cable & power lines come down, my generator had me back up LONG before cable. Now days I do not have winter weather, but my buddies do and still prefer the BDS and generator over cable.
