How do you know when local hd channels go live?

How do you know when the local hd channels go live? From a couple of posts in the last few days, it looks like Madison, WI may have been upgraded to HD. Has anyone in the area actually confirmed this? If you aren't already pointed to the 61.5 sat, how would you know?

Posts are either made here for someone who has the proper setup and actually sees them or Scott posts the Dish Network Press Release which is usually sent to dealers the next day.

I think I may need to clarify my question - the reports said that Madison would go live April 9th. Has anyone in the Madison area seen the new channels with their current setup, yet?

Sometimes, the day after they are listed as AVAILABLE at:

I was hoping to see them when I got home last night. No such luck! Oh well, SOON. Except I am hoping I will see them on my dish @ 129. Since I think 129 mirrors 61.5?

National HD channels are mirrored, some RSN HD channels are mirrored. HD Locals are not mirrored, they are on one or the other.
