I have a Viewsat Extream and a universal LNB. It works fine and all BUT I want to only blind scan the top part of the band to speed things up.

Any thoughts? Could I change the settings?

Thanks

nope. When you set the LNB LO to 10600 that is the high band on a Universal (9750 is the lo band)

IT all works out just fine when it scans in

Standard setting means there is only one LNB LO so it can be anything
5150
9750
10600
10750
11250
other parts of world I've seen 11300

I have 2 european receivers and they default the LO to 10750 when I set
the LNB as standard and 5150 for C band. I have to set the LNB to user defined for any thing else.

some receivers do it that way too.

I know the Quali wont let you change the LNB LO to a manual setup. They're all pre-defined
