This is the most bizarrely entertaining thread I have ever read.
Also, I can't get those 5 minutes back I just spent here.

neighbors complain about everything
Waáàaaaaaaay back b4 the hopper..721Yea they're REALLY foggy (for you)...because you don't even know who/what you're quoting - geeze!
If you re-read, I was ONLY correcting mfoster's (incorrect) statement about the Hopper's (NOT) ever being $17; I never said anything about ANY other model receivers - of which there ARE some models that have an A/O charge of $17, of course.
Let's not forget Verizon, Sears.......Junk mail is just a daily thing. It doesn't matter if it's Dish, DirecTV, the cable company or any other business sending out direct mail. That is just what mail is now. Do what I do, have your recycling bin near your mail box. When I get home I open the mail box and separate the junk mail from the good mail and through the junk straight into the recycling bin.
and, wasn't it, Home Depot...
I have the image captured off of this website that outlines all the changes and it clearly says 02/01/10 at the top of the Monthly Additional Receiver FEEsI recall when the price increase for the second VIP 722 jumped to $17. That's when I dropped having two DVR receivers. Seems like it was before 2010 though, because I had a tree hit by lighting in the late summer of 09 and had to replace ONLY ONE 722 because the modem got fried.
As I stated above, they seem to be losing and re-gaining the same few thousand or so subs back and forth. They are basically standing still. That isn't good for long term growth no matter how you slant it Kab.And considering the pay TV industry has been losing subs steadily since 2010, the "policy" doesn't seem to be hurting them as much as you would like to believe.
I really just can't wait for Bob's responses to Rose's posts...
Maybe Bob is tricking udHe is probably out fixing laminators and has no idea...
