How desperate is the government for Barry Bonds??!!

The difference between you and me is I look at ALL angles of any discussion. Not the popular one, not the one everyone seems to agree with and not the one that everyone has read and likes.

It's called taking off the blinkers...you should try it some time....clears up alot of things sometimes when you try it.

Time to take off the tin-foil hat. It's not very becoming of you.

Some call it "popular" while others call it "logical".

If you had any reason you'd understand.

It's obviously a sheer coincidence that home run records were destroyed like no time in history during the steroid era.

AND smaller parks....deluted pitching and a tightly wound baseball have nothing to do with that either right??!! Hell, if I am not mistaken, you yourself have said that you hated expansion because it delutes the pitching....

I didn't bother reading this link, but I assume it supports your backwards argument?

What did you do, google "steroids do not lead to more home runs" or something?

Sorry, but the two blogs you posted do nothing but make this argument look even more foolish.

Those would be good arguments, but look what happened after Steroids were exposed...power numbers went down while the diluted pitching and smaller parks remained.

Edit:

It's really hard to win an argument when the facts are not on your side.

Wow, you never stop.

The parks are still small (and getting smaller), the pitching is still diluted, the baseball is still wound the same way, and in 2008 only two players hit 40 home runs. Just a coincidence that there is a tougher steroid policy, of course.

Just proved you my point on how you think!!! So because I was able to find two link stating my point, you refuse to read it??!!

I did a search in google using the words "baseball players and steroids" and "does steroids make a baseball player better".

You're getting off track. Don't be distracted, you said "steroids don't contribute to players hitting more home runs"....

What the hell does Cleveland have anything to do with this discussion about steroids? You're starting to lose your grip Salsa.

When facts fail him he starts telling you he's right and you're wrong because of where you live. You can look it up.

C'mon now. It helped Bonds, McGuire and Sosa (among others) hit more home runs. Just look at their numbers.
It helped them rebuild there muscles so they could play more games!! There were a lot more players on juice that could not stay in the game because lack of talent!

So the balls are wound the same way as they were 20 years ago...? And the parks as just as small as they were 20 years ago and the you had just as many deluted pitching as you did 20 years ago?

I didn't read it because it has no credibility. It's a blog, which is basically just some armature's opinion. No noteworthy source whatsoever! You can google pretty much anything and come up with a link supporting side A or B, but it doesn't mean it's credible!

Lol. Well if that's the case, I think all that sun in Miami is starting to melt his brain. Seriously, I'm amazed at some of the stuff he argues about.

Salsa,

Are you an attorney, or are you Al Gore because they both famous for saying this:

"When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler"

I can't believe we're even having this conversation....How do you account for the increased power numbers for Bonds in his late 30s?
He played the whole season! It's easy to go back and see when he started. All of his career he did not play a whole season except for the last three..

That + what else???

Roids are called performance "enhancers" for a reason. Let's not forget that.

Everything you did before, you can do better on 'Roids.
