How bout them Cowboys1

Trust me, there are a LOT of Cowboys fans who don't respect Jerry Jones at all, and it's because of what he did to Landry.

T.O. after the game with the Lions: "We'd win if I always got all of the passes, even the ones I drop. WHAAAA!" :D

I wouldn't wish T.O. on any team... well maybe the Bungles or The Baltimore Pigeons.

I can't believe the Cowboys messed up a field goal like they did.

Unless there is a miracle I guess the Boys will be going home.

With the Steelers being out I'll probably root for San Diego and New Orleans for the sympathy factor.

I'll definitely wont back the Ravens, and I think Payton Manning is to much of a crybaby.

Did you happen to notice that Romo almost made a 1st down on that play ? I know everyone was thinking TD, but they came close to getting the 1st.
Jordan Babineaux saved the game for Seattle when he takled Romo on the botched FG snap

This Austin guy for the Cowboys appears to be the real deal for kick returns.

Actually I thought he did, to bad you can't throw the red flag in the last 2 minutes, I'm sure Parcels would of.

Romo was tearing up during the post-game news conference. He blamed the loss on himself and himself alone.

I blame this crappy season on T.O.

Please, the only reason the cowboys fell apart in the second half of the season was the loss of Greg Ellis and the release of Larry Allen in the preseason, and as seasons go this was better than last year. You put Greg Ellis back in on defense and the offense gets twice as many opportunities to score and the cowboys end up at least a 2nd seed in the NFC. And even with a broken finger TO was leading the NFL in TD catches this year. Pretty amazing feat.

What Dallas needs is another Offensive lineman, The release of Larry Allen was glaring. I dont know how anyone could have expected that line to work. Jones and Parcells were kidding themsleves. The other need is a shut down corner, with the services of Ellis back next year if he recovers from his achilles this will extend the time to get to the passer. The offense is loaded IMO. The last weakness is offensive play calling. Blame Romo all you want for yesterday, but have they ever heard of play action or tackle eligible at the end of the game to get 1 yard? Parcells is not an offfensive genius. Perhaps a wide reciever screen on your own goal line is not such a good idea? It did lead to 2 scores for the other team (saftey and a TD) all because of ONE play!. Sean Peyton was a huge loss.

Did anyone else notice that when Julius Jones got pissed off in the 3rd or 4th Q and wanted to fight that he actually stopped running like a Pu$$Y? Like he wanted to actually pick up more then 2 yards a carry? Perhaps he could play the whole season like that instead of looking like crap compared to a journeyman RB in Barber? And he forced more defensive player into the box finally, a play action opportunity that the Dallas coaches squandered and ended up with three points after moronically continuing to run into 8 men in the box.

The obvious ineptness of the defense to execute a line stunt or zone blitz really has Parcell's defensive coaching abilities in question. Wanna score on the cowboys? just wait until these clowns try to blitz! First they dont disguise it at all and then they allow 5 lineman to stack up and hold off 8 defensive players. ANd did I mention a defensive back coach? fire whoever that is now. Parcells' success has always been the strength of his assistant coaches and they obviously are not very good right now. I am the biggest Dallas fan there is but their inability to blitz is just absurd.

No I am convinced TO aint the problem, he probably saved this team from its inept coaches etc and got them into the playoffs. You have to remember this guy sat out a lot of last season and probably wasnt even in his best playing shape this year. Bad leg at the beginning of the season, then a broken finger and still catch all of those TD's? Without him we would have been sitting at home with the deadskins yesterday. DID TO fumble the extra point yesterday? Nope, Did TO fumble the pass on the goal line that led to two scores? NO, Did TO fumble the ball like Jason Whitten did yesterday? DID he continually thow the ball into the ground? Nope Anyone blaming TO needs to take a look at the real problems.

I watched this game while playing Civilization with Neutron and was updating him on the score. It was by far the most bizzare game I have seen all year.

Vurbano,
T.O. leads the league in dropped passes and TD's dropped as well.

I am not blaming Romo for the loss, but I had mentioned previously that he was a rookie and had never experienced playoff pressure., maybe the dropped snap was playoff pressue ....

He handles a football on every play so you can't say he wasn't use to teh kickers ball, he handled snaps all day.

I kinda like Romo, but I do not like the Cowboys

V. You also mentioned IF they had Ellis and Allen, (injured and released ?)
well every team can say that, IF this guy didn't get hurt.
Hell if Roethlisberger had not got hurt in the off season and the appendactony during the season .....
The Steelers may have been able to repeat.

IF the Bears had a reliable QB, and Mike Brown is injured as is Tommy Harris and the problems Tank Johnson has had .....
They could be a realistic TOP team, instead of a possible top team.
See IF can do a lot, MOST teams at this time of the year are saying IFthis or IF that.
