Since you have a Phase III then set it up in the sat setup for "3 LNB" (2nd option if I remember right)....then it will see the proper satellites and work fine

How do I go about doing this?

it says "press - to confirm" then kicks you into the screen

Since I have a SWM setup I cant change the settings so I cant get into that menu to see but I think its 2nd option (1st option is a 18" only dish so its gotta be the 2nd option)
