After reading some posts in this C-Band section, we're wondering if the lyngsat footprint numbers are not accurate. We want to limit our dish to a 120cm miniBUD for our location near Los Angeles because we want to use our available Pansat PM900 motor which should handle dish sizes up to 1.2M.
The lyngsat site shows a recommended size of 100-120cm for most of the sats we're interested in, but we're beginning to suspect that a 6 or 8 footer may be required. Do anyone have good experience receiving C-Band sats in Los Angeles with a 1.2 miniBUD?
Thanks for any replies..
