For the last week my Hopper3 has been going to a black screen(live or DVR), with no audio, then after 5-10 seconds it reboots. No error messages are given. On the joeys it just says the signal loss error when the Hopper reboots.
I've done red button resets and power cord reset after it happens and sometimes it works and sometimes it just reboots again. It sits on a shelf with adequate space around for venting and the fan is working.
I chatted with Dish a few minutes ago and the tech told me that he/she really couldn't troubleshoot it without it happening or error code to look up.
I've only had the unit since the begging of July. Anyone else having the black screen or am I just special? lol
