I am looking to upgrade my system from 2 722's to 2 hoppers & 3 wireless joeys. My 722's feed other TV's via the home distribution feature, but I would prefer hd on the other sets.

So here's my ?.............Will the wireless joey's be able to view both of the hoppers tuners & recorded items?

Yes.

Recorded items from either Hopper are available from directly the DVR menu. For tuners, you have to switch between Hoppers from the setup menus - 6-8 button presses.

???? You lost me!
From the joey, to switch links between Hoppers (to access tuners) takes 6-8 button presses on the remote (going from memory): yellow, blue, 4, two or three arrows to navigate the link screen, view live.

Thanks for the info

Anyone that has the wireless joey.......are they stable or do they cut out & what kind of range do they have?

Mine works great. When I inquired, I was told as long as your house is 4000 ft or less it should work fine.

If you have distance issues, you could always install it with the help of a HIC so that you can get the access point closer to the wireless Joeys.

Mine works great. You would have no idea that it's connected wireless. What I love the most is the fact that the Joey is physically in my room now so the remote works better.

I would like to get me a HIC. Will DISH send me one if requested? If so, will it effect contract date? Or do I have to purchase it? Thanks

It doesn't hurt to ask. They are free at the time of install. You may have to purchase it though and it will not affect anything with a contract. The HIC is not a leased piece of equipment.

Does anybody know how I can get another power supply for the wireless Joey?
From Dish...Order From Store...$10.00

Did not see anything, Rey.

EDIT: Rey, I see it now in Firefox on desktop. Was not showing in Safari on iPad.

I will call dish. The one you can order from the store or Ebay is for the regular Joey and I believe the Wireless Joey has a different connector.

I just pulled out an old Joey and the connectors are not quite the same. The wireless joey is a red connector and has a smaller slot for the connector to slide into. The Wireless Joey supply may work with a regular Joey but not vice versa.
