Hopper no longer sees external hard drive.

Friday morning my Hopper was not giving my tv a signal via HDMI. I tried pressing power on the remote and got nothing. I pressed power on the front panel and it came on. The remote was no longer linked and all of my high def settings were cleared out. I also had to re-link the Joeys, setup wi-fi, and rename the device i didn't lose timers or recordings. The external hard drive showed up but it was blank. The Hopper was on S207. I went down to Hopper number 2 and it received S209 overnight. I plugged the hard drive in and it showed up fine. All the programming was still there. Whenever I plug the hard drive into hopper 1 it doesn't recognize it. When I unplug it it says device " " has been removed. It usually says "external device 1". Any suggestions? I've tried hard reset and using a different USB port.

I sent an authorization to the receivers on your account. Can you please reboot the Hopper and try and connect the EHD and please let me know if it is working now? Just to be clear, only one of the receivers updated to 209 overnight? I am going to report the issue with the EHD and just want to be sure. Thank you!

I just had my 2H 6J Install completed about an hour ago. First time trying to connect the EHD from my old 622. Hopper recognizes the drive but says it's empty. Software is s207. Would the 209 help me with this?

PM a DIRT member and have them send a "hit" to your Hopper.

I'll try it out when I get home. Yes only one Hopper went to 209. I started having issues with the one that is still on 207. It almost seemed as if there was a failure during the update. Just pure speculation. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks!
