You will need a new dish for the Hopper. Probably a 1000.2 or a 1000.4, with an LNB that can see 2 or 3 satellites at the same time.

Yep, start as a newbie with H/J, then add your purchased ViP211.

Yes you can have hopper and 211. I have 2 hoppers 3 joeies and 1 211 all in the same account I use the the 211 when I'm home and use it with my tailgater when camping
