Just checked UPS, it says

Shipment Progress

Location Date Local Time Activity
Fort Myers, FL, United States 01/26/2016 6:59 P.M. Origin Scan

So, the package is at the hub in Ft. Myers, on its way

Scott, you said no "retailers" had any, I wonder if he is a distributor and a retailer, and that is the difference?

The "Ready for UPS" tag that's been on it all day (at least for me) means the shipper has notified UPS that they have a package they want shipped.

However, as of 10 minutes ago, I just had my origin scan that confirms UPS has it.

MY HOPPER 3 IS ON THE WAY!

Mine says it will be here Thursday, hope it makes it, I can't wait to install. I'll get on it Thursday evening now that I am doing four 10 hour days and have Friday's off, I can work till late to get it all in. As much trouble as it can be, there is nothing much that I enjoy more than installing DBS/FTA satellite equipment, I know that sounds like a weird hobby, of course probably not that weird here, we do have a thread with close to 900 posts about a satellite receiver :)

Will do, tracker has it for delivery the 3rd since its cross country ground shipping, so I'm sure we'll hear plenty before I have mine

This will be my first install. Pretty excited to dig in to this equipment since satellite stuff is nearly the only equipment I've never worked on

Where are you? West coast? I guess that's, what 5 or 6 days ground? Mine wouldn't be here as fast on ground if I wasn't just next door in Alabama.

You can use the dual hub with the H3, just won't have anything connected to the second satellite and host ports.
You can't terminate host or adv client ports though.... So one would have to assume that using a duo hub for only one hopper would cause some problems. I guess the only way to find out is to try it. Prob better to just get the solo hub and be done with it. I've seen hubs get fryed due to jumpers not being terminated. So I imagine the safe bet would be go solo.

Why can't you terminate host or client ports?

Same status here.

Oh, and its (adv.client ports) client ports can be terminated all day. But host ports pass voltage.

The voltage comes from the receiver or power inserter, not the switch or hub or node or whatever. Of course you terminate all unused ports on nodes and hubs.
