OK.. seriously.. What the hell is this?

The GF had it on TLC and it must have lasted 2 minutes before I turned it off.
Is western society so braindead that this type of "programming" appeals to the masses? Or are its viewers dumb enough that they able to relate to it?

Am having trouble understanding that intelligent people might watch this.

I've never seen the show, but I did see the mother (and I use that term loosely) on one of the late night shows. All I could do was shake my head since I was reminded that we really are just a pair of thumbs away from once again swinging from the trees....and our blended society is getting dumber and fatter by the day.

This has got to be one of the worst shows, but lots of shows have gotten to the point I shake my head.
