Honest Advice 921

Is it worth the $549? I am so tempted to get one but I have concerns.....

1) Is it stable enough to be wife friendly?

2) If it's discontinued will they still roll out new software?

3) What are the thoughts on 942 (when can we get it?)

They're still rolling out new software for the 721 (got one last weekend), so I would say yes.

All indications are that the L189 software set for Nov 18th will fix alot of the problems with the 921. The next release after that should have some of the features we've been waiting on. I've had a 921 since January. I now use it as my primary receiver. And if the next release lives up to expectations, it will be my primary DVR (I have a 721 as well). My advice is to wait until next weekend and see what the response is to the new software.
