Any new info on which video file format works best when watching a movie from a NAS drive. The only file type that seems to work is .MPG I can watch .VOB files but without audio. I really wish Dish would add more support to other file types.

I guess I am the only one using this feature. It really works well if you can find an easy way of getting your movies in the correct format. Here is what I have learned after trying hundreds of format combinations: The two best video formats are .ts (but must rename to .m2ts) and .mpg, but will only support ac3 audio not mp3. I currently an using Nero's Recode to convert a movie to .mpg with ac3 audio. Anyone else tried this?

I would love more details on your setup. If I put any file type other than .vob .mpg or .m2ts into my DLNA NAS drive, my 922 doesn't even see it.

should I upgrade to a super dish

Using Superdish for 61.5, 72 & 77 ?
