ok people ONE MPEG4 upgrade, no matter how you slice or dice it. If you need more than one you pay full price for the second.

Or wait a year then do another upgrade.

What triggered the shipment of 211 to you? Did you explicitly ask for it?

I was upgrading my 311 to 811 and they send me a 211. I am holding off on activating it till this mess clears up.

Let's see if I have this right. I can 'lease' a VIP622 on Feb 1st for $299 in order to get the new HD channels. Than I can upgrade my 811 for $49 or my 311 for $98. This means that I will only be upgrading one receiver and leasing a new (VIP622) receiver at the same time. Since I am leasing the VIP622 for the new HD channels I am only upgrading one receiver (311 to VIP211). I am not upgrading two receivers as the deal for the VIP622 is not an upgrade but a purchase/lease to provide new HD channels. Do I have this right here? I currently own all my receivers!
