help

dirt team help my 922 just died an going too down grade too a 722k sun. can you help get it done i have a appment sun can you get me up today

Hi, I do see the appointment scheduled for Sunday. The only thing I can recommend is to unplug from the power supply for 10 seconds and try connecting directly to another outlet with no surge protectors and see if you can get the receiver to stay powered on. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Mary, I think he thought you could pull a rabbit out of your hat and get him fixed today.

Weird, when my first 622's HDD died I could still use it as a receiver till the replacement came in...

Same here a 622 and a 722. Sounds like his HD isn't dead but corrupted which may be causing his box to continually go through the boot routine.

its dead hard drive wont stop runing reboots an when it finly boots up an you get a channel it shots down an want reboot

It does sound like a power issue. HD failure would allow the tuners to work, just no recording or pausing Live TV. I am sorry that I could not be of more help.

I had a 722 go bad in 2010. Constant reboots, and had to replace it. The cause was...we had a power outtage, and when power was restored, the power flickered on and off 4 or 5 times, which completely destroyed the 722.
