I was wondering if i could have dish 522's in 4 rooms of my house but now having them sharing that way i can record one thing while wacthing another. any tips

Nope, dish only allows (1) 522 per account.

DISH allows only one LEASED 522 per account. Other users have had success purchasing and activating a second 522. There are VERY strict requirements for purchasing and successfully activating the current eBay supply of 522s.

You must purchased a new 522 that has never been active on a leased account. Once found, email ceo@dishnetwork.com and ask to get the rcvr activated.

Remember Dish will only allow 6 receivers per account.. so you may max out at 3 522's if you don't let them know they're all being used single mode.
