Help with new dish wiring

The only mover that I have actually seen that read a pot was the old Birdview unit. Not sure if it would work with your actuator, or if they had some kind of proprietary setup to drive just the old BV H-H mounts.

I see them occasionally on eBlah, they usually don't even get a bid.

Just my opinion - your best choice will be to replace the actuator with one that will generate the pulses needed.

Potentiometers roamed the earth with the dinosaurs and may have become extinct before our prehistoric friends!

100% recommend updating the sensor to a reed type or replacing the actuator.
