I need some help. I recently moved to Omaha, NE (zip 68138) and found out all I need is a small, multi directional antenna. I am looking for one that will pick up my local HD signals since Dish does not carry them yet. I am within 15 miles of 3 towers, all at the same location, and within 3 miles of the fox tower. I have researched and researched and now I think I am more confused than ever.

Any ideas for an indoor antenna with a coax cable I can plug directly into my HDTV???

Oh, hooking an antenna up outside is not an option. All I will say is one word, wife.

Thanks

Tim

Proposed Solutions:

1). swap out the wife
2). put antenna in the attic
3). get a set of rabbit ears from the 99¢ store

I went with option #3, on my new Channel Master 7000 converter box.
I'm getting around 40 digital subchannels in LA, and I'm 29 miles from Mt. Wilson (where all the TV towers are)

Print out this post and give her a copy.
See which idea she likes best. - :eureka - :D

If rabbit ears don't work how about some version of the two dollar antenna (UHF) farther down the page. It might be possible to conceal it behind a picture sans back-screen. If you charm her with all those sub-channels she may agree to anything.
