Hey everyone,
I've had a 622 since the first day they were offered ($299 for the privilege to lease). Anyway this morning I think it has finally crapped out. I keep getting the satelite acquiring screen and it won't get past 3 of 5. Here's what I've done.
Switched the incoming lines with my 522 just to make sure it wasn't a bad cable or something and the 522 works fine with both the 622 feeds and its own so I'm thinking it's not a cable problem.
Unplugged the DPP-44 and plugged back in to no avail.
In the menu the check switch works OK and the signal strength seems to be good on all satellites. (I get 110, 119, 121 and 129)
The only thing that doesn't seem to work is Tuner 2 won't get signal strength in point dish screen. So I'm guessing tuner 2 crapped out.
Is there anyway to bypass tuner 2 and get past that acquiring signal screen?
Anyway they are sending me a new 622 for no charge (waived shipping). I hope that one works when I get it. Anything I am missing? Thanks much for any help you can offer.
