Help making a decision

I want to get a few opinions before I purchase a VIP 211. I know you probably won't know the answer but I need some opinions.
I currently do not have a HD package or receiver from Dish but I am going to get the HD pack/Voom without locals. I am going to cancell my AT120 package after the free 6 months and only have HD. With all of Dish's bs fees popping up Feb 1, if I subb to the HD's before Feb 1 and cancell my AT package later, do you think I will be grandfathered in for the current HD price or do you think it will get jacked up to the Feb 1 price of $29.99? What is the best option?

the hd only price only applies to the new package. As long as you dont have that package and are subscribed to the old packages you'll be fine

But it seems kinda silly to stick to the same old HD just so you don't get a price increase.

Just do the right thing and bend over and give yourself to dish

Last question. Do you think I will get the new MP4 channels also? I would hate to go to Comcast.

With the 211, you will get the new mpeg4 channels. There is also an additional service fee unless you have at least the at60 package.
