Please help!
I added a second DN 500 antenna to add 61.5 to my setup. When I connect this antenna directly to the receiver, I get a good signal from 61.5, but when I do the connection from this antenna to the in port of the other DN 500 antenna my receiver only shows 110 and 119. What am I doing wrong?

I have searched for answers in this forum, but I have not found a related subjet. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you run check switch after you connected it to the dish input? You need to do that before the receiver will recognize it.

lnb's on both antennas are the same type; labels indicate DP Digital LNBF both with 3 connectors, 2 out 1 in. I noticed that my neighbor's antenna for the 61.5 only has a single lnb and I'm using twin lnb; do you think this might be a problem?
I did not run a switch check since I was not receiving a signal. I'll do that when I get home tonight. Thank you for your prompt replies.

You can't feed a DPP Twin with another DPP Twin. You need a DP Dual LNB:

You can put it on the Y-adapter with the other side empty; we do that all the time.

the check switch is most likely the issue... if you didn't let the STB know that it was receiving a new signal then it won't show it.

The check switch is what lets the STB Know whats going on.
