Helix on Syfy

Limited amount of time to watch stuff. I don't want to waste any of that time watching something that won't have a conclusion. I tend to watch shows that have an ongoing story arc. I just recently got around to watching The Americans.

Edit: Plus I'm still pissed at Syfy for killing off the Stargate franchise.

Yeah, how DARE they only show 17 seasons from 3 separate series, PLUS 4~ movies before killing it? Let's also not forget the cartoon "Stargate Infinity"...

Watched the double episode: 1 + 2
Then saw episode: 3.
So far I would characterize it as Andromeda Strain meets The Thing.
That may prove to be short sighted as the story developes.
.
Seems like it wants to be more Horror, not my favorite sort of show.
We'll see how it goes.
.
Seems okay, and I'll keep watching, but it's not on my "must see" short list.
I would recommend everyone try these episodes and make up your own mind.
.
And if you are holding off watching 'till all episodes are in the bag, look out for spoilers in this thread! ;)

Yes how dare they, lol I was just really getting hooked on SGU when they axed it,that's when they tripled the reality crap content.

Also the old 2005 CBS series Threshold comes to mind.

Maybe they will kill everyone off and then the SyFy ghost busters teams can go in and see how many ghosts they can find...

Not bad at all.At least it is science fiction. Was that seven of nine I saw for next weeks episode?

Sent from my SM-T310 using SatelliteGuys mobile app

I'm DVRing it. I watch after my usual Friday Nights shows have been watched either live or DVR'd. All I keep thinking when I see Billy Campbell is there goes the Rocketeer....

I watched the first 3 episodes of the show Sunday and I have to say I speed through large parts of it. The dialogue was tedious and I've seen this type plot before. I will watch episode 4 to see if it gets any better, but I am not really hopeful .

I just watched ep #4, and I believe I'll give it up.
Too hard to follow various volume levels, accents, techno-babble, and whine whine whine about my childhood.
They had plenty of time to take the viewer somewhere, but instead want to bamboozle us.
Well, also I'm not a fan of Horror, which this certainly is, with monsters jumping out several times per episode.
.
For those of you who enjoy it, go right ahead.
I'm erasing my episodes, and won't look back. :)
.
PS: Jordan Hayes was the only good memory I'll take with me.
Played a 20-something doctor.
