HD's on 110 Spotbeamed?

I am losing reception on most of HD's on the 110 satelite. Are they spotbeamed?
I am in Las Vegas and "moved" to LA to get HD locals. (Don't ask me why they don't have HD locals in Vegas yet?). My HD locals come in fine, but I have been losing several of the HD channels throughout the day.
It was bearable until it dropped the season premier of Burn Notice on USA HD.
I didn't think the HD channels were beamed, but I can't figure out while I am all of sudden losing the 110?

Just playing around with point dish and it seems most problem channels are on transponders 3,16 and 17, all three have very little signal strength

Only the locals should be on spotbeams. As you already discovered, you probably need to adjust the dish slightly to get better signal on the problem transponders.
