HD reception opinions

Using the antenna finder on antennaweb.org I have found that the towers for all the local stations are 55 miles to my NNW. I know my best option to get reception is to use the CM3671 or CM3020 with a preamp. Here's my dilemma: I live in a fairly wooded area. NNW from my house is undeveloped with lots of tall Fir trees. The tower is located at an elevation of 175 feet and my house is 520 with no big obstacles in between.

So my questions is, do you think I will be able to receive the OTAHD signal? I know it is probably hard to tell so I am just looking for opinions. I am just hesitant to put down the cash if it is not even feasible.

My experience has been to get the antenna above the trees, if it is below the tree line it does not work.
My antenna is about 53 miles from the tower and it works well with the preamp.
