Locals in SD
Payperview in SD
NHL Center Ice still showing, was told no problem in renewing it next season (we shall see)

Also, was told CSR was getting calls "all morning" concerning VOOM, and she encouraged me to contact Dish....and that VOOM will most likely be returining....ready?.......sometime soon.

Had to call three times to make sure my new billing was correct....but it would not be Dish, if I didnt have to do that:)

Thanks for this information. :) If I could only get my local RSN networks (even in SD) with the package, I would downgrade in a heartbeat...

Missing some SD channels

How come some channels that are in HD are not available in SD?
For example CNBC, HMC, DISE etc...

Because Dish is dragging their feet in making them available.

At first none of the new HD channels on Monday had the SD equivalent. Since then they have slowly -- very slowly -- added a few throughout last week. I think there are still 7 not included as of today (ESPN News, Disney, Toon Disney, Biography, ABC Family, Hallmark Movie, CNBC).

Calling Dish is a nightmare because the CSR's will tell you that you should be getting only the HD channels and you don't want to argue with the uninformed...:(

I think since Dish has yet to add those missing sd channels to the HD package there is no hope in a CSR fixing it.

I know they can't, but unfortunately, they are the "receptionist" to the subscriber with a complaint and Dish has not even bothered to tell them that the complaint is legit, let alone connect the subscriber with someone who can help (or explain).

The CSR's are uninformed because Dish has chosen to keep them that way. In the meantime, it has been over one week since the new HD channels were added and we still don't have most of the SD eqivalents AND we have no one to communicate the problem to at Dish...

Maybe they'll give us a credit...

Agreed I sent email concerning VOOM and our new non HD HD channels to customer service AND "the CEO" and got the exact same boiler plate response back.
Very discouraging.

no royals on mlb.com and rsn-DOUBLE blackout

About time Voom said something
