Just some possible helpful information. For the last few weeks, my HD channels have been freezing, pixelating and flat out loosing signal. The odd thing is, it was only happening when the sun came over the house and hit the dish. In the morning when the sun is in the front house. No problem. When the sun goes down and it cools off, no problem. Signal levels for 103c were in the high 70's, low 80's even when it was loosing the signal. Happens on both DVR's at the same time. Called DirecTV, they sent a guy out. He went out to the dish, AT9, and pulled the white cover off the LNB's. They were full of water. I wish I would have had the TV on when he pulled the covers off. The guy said he has seen a lot of the AT9's do this. They replaced it with a slimline. Worked great all day.
So if anyone out there is experiencing this sort of thing, you may want to check for water in those covers.

I was going to suggest checking the LNB , but you've already got it taken care of. :)
You now have the AU-9 version, the one that replaced the AT-9, I thinkD* started replacing the AT-9's as the trouble reports came in.
I had a simular problem after having my AT-9 for about a year and a half, then they came out and replaced it with the AU-9 and I have had no problems since.
