Globo hd x100 firmware on my openbox s10 midnight last night I recorded an hd wildfeed dee snider celebrity roast and the receiver didn't complain I had it set to record .ps instead of .ts, which was strange.
It was the 1st time I was ever able to record hd without the drive too slow nag.I recorded 2 hours worth and the files added up to 30gig so it was definitely hd.It recorded in 4gig .mpg chunks,the fat32 limit.I can't play the recording on the s10,I just get a black screen it it stops,but I can play the files on the pc no problem.
A friend tried recording the same show with his s10 and legit s10 firmware but kept getting the drive too slow nag,so he had to switch to his x2 premium to record.I was just wondering if there are hd tranmissions other than h.264 format?
Since I recorded .mpg instead of .ts I can't analyze the files with tsreader to get any details.
I will have to see if my friend kept any .ts chunks before he switched to the other receiver to record.
