HD blacked out but not SD on same channel

the cubs-brewers game has gone into extra innings so at 5:30pm, i suddenly receive a program not available in your area message on comcast sportsnet chicago hd. i do a game search and now i'm watching the same game on the same channel in sd. what the heck is this all about? this has to be a first for me!

I'm on hold with D* about this right now.

What I think has happened is at 4:30 665 (Comcast Sportnet which has the game) has Bears Blitz on, which normally would be blacked out. Since the game went long it looks like their computer just went ahead and blacked out 724-1 but why it left 724 up is the question.

Had to go to a supervisor to get someone that would listen to the problem and looks like something worked, since when I checked at 5:03 the HD feed was back on.

i understand that bears blitz would normally be blacked out. but this is totally screwy. let us know if directv tells you anything worthwhile!
