Has the HD DVD had any kind of performance/technical review yet?

I was wondering if any of the HT sites/mags have review either of the Toshshiba units yet.

If it is a really good upconverting DVD player then that lessens the risk of HDDVD not winning out. Besides I am about to buy a upconverting DVD player OPPO so if it perforamce at least as good (see the secerets dvd testing) then I will take the risk

I assume this means your HDTV is lousy at upconverting? I wonder how many are sold that are poor at that task. I've seen posts both ways- some see no benefit or even lower quality using the upconverting players. But some post improvements worth the extra expense.

I highly doubt an Oppo would make better upconversion than a Toshiba.
