Has anyone ever messed with DishLinux and/or tried modding a 721?

When the disk in my 721 died I looked around inside and posted a howto for replacing the disk (much easier now with decent linux live CDs) and all the things I found in the process. Don't waste your time everything is signed with PGP as soon as anything changes it does a restore.
