Yes, I have several WD's check to make sure it is not multi lun first, should be some of my posts in this thread or I will look in morning & see what drives I have that work...do vip receivers support 2tb hdd?

Picked up one for the 2/1 EHD free activation festivus. Might go back for another.I noticed some Seagate Go-flex 2 TB drives at Wally World today for $89, I am using one of these, just be sure & wipe out any Seagate software & extra partitions before using with your Dish dvr's... they still have the 1.5 Seagates for $70...

I don't think there are any dish network DVRs that work with eSATA.
eSATA would be a nice addition to their receivers though...![]()
Startech.com has a usb dock whicih accepts esata internal drives.

The drive I bought doesn't appear to have any special partitions on it.are there instructions on how to do this wipeout and is this done on one's computer?
