Just an off the cuff comment regarding artist / painter Bob Ross on Montana PBS...

You gotta love this guy! He paints nothing but "Happy Trees" in a "Happy Land" and any mistakes you make are simply one of natures wonders! And they are HAPPY!

Yep, you gotta love this guy and his idealism!

There is no such thing as an unhappy dish!

So, paint your sky HAPPY!

Googled this guy and after seeing the frizzy hair and beard, he came to memory.

He has this soothing, almost hypnotic voice... :sleeo

He did a black and white picture with tissue paper, a foam paint brush, and a small artist brush. It looked so easy to do. He made a white sun on a black background with the tissue paper and then he used the foam brush and black paint to make trees and the small artist bruch with gray paint to make the branches. When he was through the picture looked great. He is a man with a lot of talent.

He parlayed this success into a commercial "Bob Ross" brand: an industry of art books and supplies. He died of lymphoma in 1995 at the age of 52.
