Had Dish Network installed at by house, now problem

Now THAT's an interesting point! I wonder if it's true.

I doubt it! :) But you just never know why some things do what they do. ITK seems pretty sure of some difs in pic Q. I haven't seen it. Except with known issues. Herringbone/ beat interference for example.

Had one the other day. Default ch60 was beating with local 25.

I'll bet if I would have changed to cable 116 (leave tv on 60) it would have worked. Just enough freq shift to fix.

No I didn't think of it. I just changed t2 mod to another off air ch. :)

Lower the channel? Not necessarily. That coax can sometimes act like an antenna and well, you end up with my case -- the highest channels have the best picture! [my downstairs one is set to 115 and the upstairs one is 105]..

OT:
When I was experimenting I got bored and tried combining cable + satellite into one feed just to see if it'd work (I was hoping it would) -- and it did, partially, but not very well -- you see, I had an amp on the cable line because it wasn't getting a very good signal, however that line amp was overpowering the cable line and so the 322's picture came VERY vaguely on there. Whoops.

Advice: never do that without one of those super home nodes ;)

Well, I've got a good one. :)

Did a 522/322 DPP Seps. TV2s diplexed back to main entry, undiplexed, combined, and then split to go two different ways. The run to the back of the house was then re-split 3 ways. ONE of them used a 75' RG-6 dual feed whose other side was cable for the modem.

All 3 feeds in the back of the house picked up several cable channels just fine, and both the TV2 PQs were A-OK, too. :)

I have the feeling that if I left a bare-ended RG-6 sticking up in the air, the whole county would've gotten those channels. :D
